Iain, how about making that track available for listening? Rip it to MP3, and upload it to your folder. I'll add it to that soundclips page that I have.

I just came on here to say that I have just bought this very programme ;-))

Thanks Rita for thinking of me and luckily I had seen this earlier. The description stated that if a sensible offer was made that if they agreed they would add a buy it now. After I sent my offer I quickly got a favourable response. The seller accepted my offer and actually put a buy it now on the item at half what I offered. I would have been gutted should the item be bought before I realised the buy it now had been placed. Luckily I bought the item and mailed the seller to thank them for their kindness. Now I just have to hope the postman delivers.

Yay Iain! I told you all this place is charmed and full of good luck!

Maybe you are right Rita, hope this starts a run of good luck for all members.

Next thing I wish for is for a winning lottery ticket, that should test your theory ;-) Might not sound Heep related but if I win the big one my collection would sore ;-))

Reminds me of a joke. Each day, one guy would pray to God, "Oh Lord, please let me win the lottery". Day after day, same prayer. One day, he hears that voice, "I would've let you win, if you would've bought a ticket".
I hope I didn't messed up the joke.
Do you really want to live in that fantasy, Iain?;-)))
I once won the 1st price, in the football Lotto. Almost 30 years ago. Guessed all 13 results on a weekend. Apparently, the fixtures were so easy, half of the country guessed it;-))) Had to share the 1st price with too many people. Actually, the sum I got was something like 3 monthly salaries. Not bad, but not something that makes you filthy rich;-))) So I gambled it all the next week, and won nothing. Never bought a lottery ticket again since;-)))

Now you need to update your Programs page, Iain;-)))

    Haha Boris, nice one.

Sorry about your win but 3 months pay isn't bad. I would be very frustrated as I 'm sure you were that week. A wins a win but when you expect a life changing amount I guess it's not a pleasent feeling. Still I would love to win 3 months wages, especially yours ;-))

Never thought of that Boris, guess I'll have to update photos oneday. No rest for the wicked.

Don't be so sure you'd want my wages;-)))

Want an other story on my football lottery adventures?;-))) Happened some time before the event above. It's the 90's minute of the last match on the weekend. All other results are know, and I guessed all 12. I have bet a home win and a draw on the the last fixture, and with less then a minute to play, it's a 2-2 draw and I have 13 correct guesses. That's the 1st price for you. Then the guest team goes and scores a winning goal, which leaves me with just 12 guesses, and a second price which is obviously quite low. It's my most hated team in the world since;-)))

How did we went from a subject of your top wished Heep item to winning lotteries?;-)))

No rest for the wicked, Iain, no rest;-)))
  3.
Haha! If I won the lottery, I would buy some plane tickets - and of course make my collection grow faster :-) Problem is, I don't buy lottery tickets ...

Another nearly tale Boris. I don't bet but I am in a lottery syndicate. Never won anything over a tenner so waste of time really. Dadly the hope outweighs the results.

If you don't bet, you don't win, so maybe it's good to be an optimist;-))) I'm a realist, I didn't bought a lottery of any kind for maybe the last 15 years;-)))

Anyway, are you sure you wanna win the big prize? I have heard of many cases that money went as fast as it came. Two friends of mine won the big prize once, as partners. One of them works now as a service man for soft drink machines, the other is a truck driver. Not exactly jobs for millioners;-)))

Well, the magic of this thread is still going as now we have the New Nadir stuff coming out. :-)

So, here is my current wish: A job ... and it would not hurt if it paid better than what I had ;-)

Good luck with that Rita, truly hope you get another job real soon.

The New Nadir stuff is very intesting to me but as I don't collect vinyl I would love to have this released on CD too.

Interestingly Ed Carter contacted me this weekend about this release. He is one of the band members of The New Nadir. I think he was a little pissed at not being told about this release, obviously the band members weren't approaced to give their permission. Many know I started the wheels in motion to attempt to get the three tracks released that are or were in possession of Joe Boyd. From that initial approach I had contact with Ed Carter and Mike Kowalski who joined The New Nadir in 1968. I knew nothing more than Ed did so don't know how far Ed will pursue this.

Let's keep the thread alive then;-)))

I've been corresponding with Rolf, the guy that's making the New Nadir release. Wrote to place an order, and ended up discussing the stuff with him. He told me some interesting things. Looks like he has a lot of knowledge on the New Nadir and related history. He told me also that there might be plans to release The Secrets stuff. But probably no so soon.

Good luck with your wish, Rita. I have the same one;-)))
  5.
I have been corresponding as well with Rolf, and have heard probably the same interesting things. He told me he has been working for 10 years on this. I am not sure what this whole story is about with Ed Carter not knowing and all. Interesting. I also was told things about Joe Boyd (not by Rolf) which weren't too flattering. It's amazing how much drama the music business can bring. Well, I am just a fan that is all I can say.

Hope both your wishes come true and sooner rather than later.

I think many in the music business will have enemies. Such a cut throat business is bound to attract ruthless people.

I hope Rolf manages to release all he wishes. Same still applies that I'd love a CD option or download option on their site. Ah well these vinyl lovers are serious folk ;-))

I might revise my views on supernatural things;-))) Something strange is definitely going on here;-)))
